INTRODUCTION: The Great Female Scholar DR FARHAT HASHMI Born in Sargodha, Punjab, Pakistan in December 22, 1957. She completed her Master's degree in Arabic Language from the University of Punjab, Lahore.She completed here study in PhD Degree in Islamic Studies from the University of Glasgow Scotland. After complete her Studies, She join "international islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan as a Lecturer and Assistant Professor. Dr Farhat Hashmi gained popularity as a feminist scholar both in Pakistan and abroad. Her father (Late) Abdur Rehman Hashmi was a prominent religious scholar.  Her father was responsible for instilling in her the desire to spread the word of Allah. Dr Farhat hashmi married with the Great man Dr. Muhammad Idrees Zubair. Dr. Muhammad Idrees Zubair, also a scholar with special interest in “Hadith.

Al-Huda International Welfare: 

      Hashmi founded Al-Huda International Welfare Foundation in 1994.The foundation now runs a network of schools, seminaries and social welfare projects in 2004.the foundation established the Al-Huda Institute in Toronto, Canada. Al-Huda Institute  offers courses on Quran and Hadith.

      AlHuda International School,, an aspiration of Dr. Farhat Hashmi,  and a dream shared by thousands of Muslims within Pakistan and abroad; is a one of a kind school that provides excellent academic education based on Islamic guidelines. Founded in September 2010 in Islamabad.


Dr. Muhammad Idrees Zubair: 

           Dr. Idrees Zubair is currently the Director of Al Huda International Welfare Foundation. In 1983, he began his career as a lecturer at the International Islamic University, Islamabad in the Department of Usool-ud-Deen. In 1985, Dr. Zubair went to the University of Glasgow, Scotland to pursue a Ph.D in Hadith Sciences with his wife Dr. Farhat Hashmi. He has previously held the position of Associate Professor in the Islamic Research Institute and also served as the Chairman of the Hadith Department at Allama Iqbal Open UniversityDr. Zubair has lectured in different parts of the world and has taught diverse courses in Islamic Sciences.



About Family:

Dr. Hashmi and Dr. Zubair have four children: three married daughters and a son. Their daughters are also teachers there. There is Asma Zubair also known as Bint al-huda who teaches recitation and Taimiyyah Zubair who teaches grammar. She has one daughter in Pakistan Maryam zubair and a son Hisham Zubair, who lives with her. Currently, the family resides in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
